The Motherloaded Tavern

“Eclectic comfort food plus creative cocktails offered in homey tavern quarters.”

  • Music: Yes – live music every Friday and Saturday night
  • Dance Floor: No
  • Something Fun: Darts!
  • The Cherry on Top: Their house-infused liquors are an absolute must try! They have 19 unique homemade booze infusions including jalapeno vodka, dill pickle vodka, honey habanero bourbon and cilantro lime tequila.

The Gold Pan Saloon

“A Breckenridge Tradition Since 1879”

  • Hours: 9 am – 2 am
  • Music: Yes – live music or DJ sets almost every Friday and Saturday night
  • Dance Floor: Yes
  • Something Fun: Try the ring toss! Sometimes they also have a pool table when there is no live music.
  • The Cherry on Top: The Gold Pan is the oldest operating bar in Summit County and is known for having the oldest license west of the Mississippi. This saloon makes you feel as though you’ve stepped back in time to the Old West as soon as you waltz through the swinging doors.

The Historic Brown

“Down-to-earth spot for beer, pool & traditional American eats in a former hotel dating to the 1800s.”

  • Hours: 7 pm – 1 am (closed Monday and Tuesday)
  • Music: Yes – Live music every Friday and Saturday
  • Dance Floor: Yes
  • Something Fun: Pool table, ping pong table, dart board and arcade games.
  • The Cherry on Top: The Brown recently went under a pretty dramatic remodel that created more space for fun games, a patio and live music. This place seems to be the next up-and-coming music venue in Breckenridge.

“The Pub that Parties like a Club!”

Ollie’s Pub & Grub

“Robust pub fare & a variety of craft beers are served in a welcoming space at this sporty tavern.”

  • Hours: 11 am – 2 am (kitchen open until 12 am)
  • Music: No live music, but they have a jukebox so you can be the DJ!
  • Dance Floor: No
  • Something Fun: They have a few arcade style games including Big Buck Hunter.
  • The Cherry on Top: 16 HD TV’s throughout the restaurant and bar with every major sports package so you won’t miss a game!

Cecilia’s Martini Bar and Nightclub

“Multi-room bar featuring après-ski cocktails & a late-night scene with a DJ-driven dance floor.”

  • Hours: 2 pm – 2 am
  • Music: Yes – DJ sets almost every night of the week.
  • Dance Floor: Yes, two rooms
  • Something Fun: If you want to dance all night, this is the place to be!
  • The Cherry on Top: Cecilia’s opened in 1996 as Breckenridge’s first martini bar. They offer 2 for 1 martini’s every day until 9 pm.

Burke and Riley’s Irish Pub

“Relaxed hangout with deck seating & a fire pit dishing up Irish specialties & bar fare.”

  • Hours: 11 am – 2 am
  • Music: Yes, for occasional events
  • Dance Floor: No
  • Something Fun: They have a large deck with a fire pit to stay warm on those cold nights!
  • The Cherry on Top: They stay open late and serve the entire menu late night (perfect for when you get hungry at the end of a long night!)

Blue Stag Saloon

“Cozy, cabin-style haunt with wood-fired pizza, mains & sandwiches, plus local craft beers & a patio.”

  • Hours: 11:30 am – 1:15 am
  • Music: No live music
  • Dance Floor: No
  • Something Fun: You can play “Stump” on the front patio after 9 pm (which is probably the best drinking game ever).
  • The Cherry on Top: They have a fire pit on the front patio to keep warm and an amazing deck out back to watch signature Breckenridge sunsets from!

Brooklyn’s Tavern and Billiards

“Pool hall/bar on the south side of town with DJ music and a younger crowd.”

  • Hours: 2 pm – 2 am
  • Music: Yes – DJ sets on the weekends
  • Dance Floor: No
  • Something Fun: Multiple pool tables and Foosball.
  • The Cherry on Top: No quarters for the pool tables, just give your ID to the bartender and play some pool while you knock a few back.

Liquid Lounge

“Bar/club with DJ’s every night of the week along with great drink and shot specials.”

  • Hours: 7 pm – 2 am
  • Music: Yes – DJ sets 7 nights a week with different themes and specials.
  • Dance Floor: Yes
  • Something Fun: Club scene with loud music and dancing all night.
  • The Cherry on Top: There is a different special/theme every night of the week such as Wu-Tang Wednesdays, Thirsty Thursdays, Friday Night Dance Parties and Saturday Night Fever.
